The idea for cosplaying Jill Valentine came from my husband. He's a huge RE/Biohazard fan, and got me hooked on it, too.
On our first trip to Japan, in April 2001- we got invited to CosplayFesta, a weekend event held actually on my birthday, no less! This was held in Korakuen Amusement Park, right besides the famous stadium.
I don't smile much while in this costume, as she's so tough!
