| Die meisten anderen Kainiten fürchten die Malkavianer. Mit der Erschaffung eines Malkavianers wird ihm das verpestete Clansblut eingeflösst, welches ihn verrückt macht. Der Wahnsinn der Malkavianer kann jede nur erdenkbare Form annehmen, von überwältigender Mordlust bis hin zu kompletter Geistesgestörtheit. Die Angehörigen des Clans des Mondes deren psychopathische Art umgehend sichtbar ist, sind mit die erschreckensten Vampire die durch die Strassen ziehen. Obwohl der Clans keinen größeren Krieg angezettelt hat noch eine sterbliche Regierung gestürzt hat (zumindest dem Wissen der anderen Kainiten zufolge) verursacht die bloße Gegenwart der Malkavianer in einer Stadt kleine, aber feine Äderungen. Chaos folgt den Malkavianern und selbst die, die Umgang mit dem rücksichtsvollsten Malkavianer haben unterziehen ihrem Unleben eine Veränderung durch den Wahnsinn dieser Kainiten. Einige Geschichten berichten von ansteckendem Schwachsinn unter den Nachfahren Malkavs, dem Gründer des Clans. Malkavianer aus der ganzen Welt haben begonnen eine neue gefährliche Ausprägung ihres Wahnsinns zu zeigen, begleitet von bizarren Geschehnissen in Städten. Eine ältere malkavianische Einbildung hält den Dschihad für einen Scherz eingeführt von dem Gründer ihres Clans. Niemand kann sagen was die Wahnsinnigen Malkavs in Wirklichkeit so gefährlich macht. Sicherlich bewahrt sie ihr Wahnsinn vor der Angst vor Schmerz oder dem endgültigen Tod. Einige Malkavianer zeigen einen schrecklichen mörderischen Drang oder das komplette Fehlen von Gefühlen sowie Mitleid. Aber am überzeugendsten ist, dass Malkavianer frei von den Schranken der Rationalität sind und tun und lassen, was auch immer sie wollen - und diese Freiheit ist mir einem unheimlichen Verständnis, einem merkwürdigen Wissen verbunden, dass kein Zurechnungsfähiger versteht. Die Malkavs zeigen einen dunklen Intellekt der sich oft - und zunehmend - an erschreckende Ziele macht. Die Clansdisziplinen der Malkavianer sind Auspex, Irrsinn und Verdunkelung Break your world into fragments, tears, love, hope and fate. Every fragment will be part of you and also of me. |
