| Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. Or so the tale goes, but whatever happened to the humans that could use magic? Perhaps...they weren’t entirely human at all... Humans, fearful of the abilities displayed by hybrids, a fusion of a human’s love and a monster’s soul, attacked the monsters without mercy. Dust filled the battlegrounds without a single human casualty and no end in sight. Seven hybrids banded together, pleading with their families and all of monster kind to flee underneath the mountain. The hybrids then used the magic and determination found within their souls to seal the Underground, with the hopes that one day monsters would be able to see the light of day again, in a world where humans accepted them once more... (Anyone else ever wonder why a human soul and a monster soul is required to even pass through the barrier?) |
