Fanart: he says he doesn't mind

| Hatte ich das hier nicht hochgeladen? XD whoops Hellooo~! ♥ Well well, my second commission is finally finished! This time it was One Piece / OC again! But not a romantic scene, it was a dramatic and bloody scene. (gosh, only thinking about the manga content makes me tear up again! Dx) The 2 persons on the left are Lilian and Loki, the OCs of Kemmasandi And I bet you know the other 2 very well...? ;^P I got a short storytext as a suggestion and I loved her writing-style! Here it is: (!!SPOILER CONTENT!!) ________________________________ There was fire in the sky- not the bright yellow-orange of Ace’s flames, but black, dark red and a dull pulsing orange. It glowed sullenly, flowing deceptively quick, and it consumed whatever it touched. I heard screams, some long and horribly drawn out, some cut unmercifully short, as my nakama found themselves caught by the lava. I looked back at Ace, not for the first time in my short life at a loss for what to do. The bloody mess of his back was hypnotic, it drew my attention and would not let it go. Ace himself had fallen silent- still, he was still alive, but dying fast. “He says he doesn’t mind,” Luffy said quietly, still staring, shellshocked, at the eerie half-smile on Ace’s bloodied lips. “But, he can’t- he’s not allowed to die.” Through the muzz of my shock, I noticed something- small flames, flickering to life around the ragged edges that marked the spot where Akainu’s fist had torn through his torso. His Devil Fruit, the Mera-Mera no Mi… even it was trying to keep him alive. Luffy was holding him close enough that the flames were scorching him as well. I could smell burning rubber above the strange sharp odour emanating from Ace… not like burning meat, but more pure; if fire itself could be burned, then this was what it smelled like. Heavy footsteps drew close through the smoke, and Lilian dropped down beside us, eyes wide, hands reaching out to Ace almost of their own accord, as though he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. “Ace- Ace, boy, are you conscious?” Ace didn’t speak, but his eyelids flickered open, turning dull black eyes to Lilian. There was a deathly stillness come over him; his hands had stopped their feverish shivering, and he didn’t seem to be breathing at all… underneath his coating of dust, soot, blood and worse, he’d gone an ashy pallor. His eyes had lost the spark that was the first thing I remembered about him. Luffy clutched him tighter, and I was sure that Ace flinched just a tiny bit, but he didn’t object. Luffy was wearing an expression like Ace’s continued life was the only thing holding him in this world. The thought crept into my head that we might lose not one but two brothers here today. Lilian barely paused, keeping his grey eyes fixed on Ace’s. “Screw standard procedure, and listen up, kid. I don’t know why you’re still alive, because what you’ve lost is just about everything important. You’re paralysed from about the chest down, I know you can’t breathe, and I can’t figure out why your heart is still beating because there’s a decent-sized chunk of it that’s not there anymore. You should have bled dry by now.” Here he reached over to me and grabbed my wrists in one hand, giving my shoulder a forceful shake with the other. “Loki, wake up! Concentrate! There’s work to do!” “He can be healed?” I asked, feeling myself start to shake. The ground beneath us bucked and groaned as if in agreement- time seemed to speed up, as if we’d been running in a bubble of our own personal time for the last however many minutes it had been. Ignoring the fresh earthquake, Lilian pried my fists open and laid my hands flat on Ace’s shoulders. “I don’t know,” he said. “Let’s find out.” _____________________________________________ The scene I drew is the very last sentence, as Lilian says he doesn't know if Loki can actually heal Ace. I love the character design of her OCs, it was very easy for me to draw them -and oh my gosh is Lilian smexy ///D -. I had a bit problems with the smokeydokeyclouds, since it's the first time I coloured something like this.. The result is not the best, but I'm still content with it.
