| He woke up with an uncomfortable feeling, as if he had slept on something hard… maybe he had accidentally dropped his watch into the bed and had been sleeping on that… Or Hopscotch had been nesting on his back again, her claws were unpleasant at times… He got up, scratching his back through the hospital gown and walked to the bathroom, the cold floor under his feet making him shiver. He rubbed his back, trying to ease the burning sensation, but it didn’t make it better. The skin only got more irritated it seemed. Pulling the hospital gown over his head, he turned his back towards the mirror, checking the source of his discomfort. His heart skipped a beat and he stopped breathing for a moment. “… oh for the sake of… you have got to be kidding me…” He whispered, helplessly reaching behind, trying to run his fingers over the letters and the scratches… which clearly had not been made by his pet… He already had trouble touching the area, there was no way he would have been able to write a name on his own back in his sleep and scratch himself like that… “… fuck…" he cursed, biting his lower lip and leaning against the cold tiles. They were soothing his back as he slid down and sat on the cold floor. ”… fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK!" he exclaimed helplessly. That was bad… that was reallybad! |
