| Drawn in 2015 I wanted to draw a slightly younger Shiranui in traditional Asian clothes - in this case of course a Yukata. The theme of this piece was "A sense of the unstoppable change coming towards them". With this theme, there is not only the change of seasons it refers to, of course. For the colouration, I mostly used water colour and here and there a few inktenses to intensify the colours at some places such as the flowers. The background is made with sugar water, which doesn't really shows here due to my use of watercolours in a pencils shape. I also used some coloured pencils here and there and acryl to let the rain appear more naturally. |
