| Part of an exhibition last summer in Amsterdam. The subject is "People & the Sea" or "Sustainability of the Sea". Different art-groups will contribute to it and there will be a variety of arts from people all over the world. This picture contains my way to show the needing of people thinking about their environment, because it is part of us, too. It is now our turn to take care of the sea which supplied us so long. We need to look after the health of the sea. We need to get information by ourselves, if we do not know it better. We are able to destroy, that is what we proved million times before. But we also can safe and restore what is already well on the way to break. Fishes are living creatures and they should be treated like this. - acrylic paint on canvas, ca. 1.2x0.7m PS: Ich lade das Bild jetzt erst hoch, weil ich schlichtweg vergessen hatte es zu tun. Ich hoffe es gefällt euch und regt vielleicht ein kleines bischen zum Nachdenken an. Besonders wichtig ist mir das nämlich, weil man solche ernsten Themen normalerweise nicht mit Manga/Comic in Verbindung bringt, obwohl es auch dadurch gut zu zeigen ist. Den Text musste ich schon vor der Ausstellung verfassen, da ich leider verhindert war mein Bild dorthin zu begeleiten :/ Wegen Internationalität der Aktion, ist das ganze in Englisch verfasst, aber das dürfte ja nicht allzu schwer sein ;) Panicat |

interessante perspektive. ich finde es wirklich sehr schön, weil es mal was ganz anderes ist. auch der kritische aspekt, der aus deiner beschreibung zu entnehmen ist, wirft das bild gleich in ein ganz anderes licht ;)

Sieht zumindest spannend aus, es lässt einen wirklich ein wenig Nachdenken..zumal es ein Thema ist welches man nicht all zu oft anspricht. Sieht gut aus! ^^
