| Athrun Zala from Gundam Seed. Painted in watercolors (exept the text at the bottom of course), tried to do the minekura thing. (saiyuki) Additional tools: Black filt tip pen for outlines and details + curtains. White gel pen for extra details in the hair + cracks in the stones. |

Athrun sure is one of the more interesting charas from SEED
and SEED D. I did some Zala pics myself.
This here is the most unusual rendering of the Zala theme
I've seen so far (except for the numerous hilarious/parody
variations floating around) in terms of technical execution
as well as the mood/style/details/accoutrements.
Not, in my eyes, that much of Minekura, though.
Then, also, I like the white gel pen washing in the watercolors.
