| Well... this is one of the most complicated pics I ever did (although it might not look like such ^^; ) It ate four A4 papers, 126MB disc-space and all together it had 44 layers :faint: Time: 6 hours Music: Linkin Park - 'Bleed it out' and 'Pushing me Away' Motive: The poor guy who's about to be (partially) eaten by the Laudae (who's called Aarev) ist Colonel Ben Zayn and the guy who's (supposed to be) laughing in the back is the Romulan Enriov Voth'ack. Although all characters from the RPG I'm in, this is not (yet? ;D ) a scene of it, for I don't think Voth'ack will overtake Ben Zayns Spacestation (in wich this is supposed to take place) and I doubt... very much... that I would kill Ben Zayn (although, there is always the possibility to let Aarev only nibble a bit on Ben Zayn's leg x) ). Well I just couldn't stop thinking about what Voth'ack would do - now that he has is *cute* pet back - if he had again one of his enemies in his hands. And although I started with "Nahh, he wouldn't use Aarev to torture his prisoners." the thought crossed my mind every second time I thought about the situation :XD: So I surrendered to it, and drew a pic. Although I'm quite happy with it (considered the degree of difficulty this had through the amount of motives (3 omg! :wow: I usually draw only 1 ;D ), and the creepy perspective (which I didn't got right xD at least... not completely)) it is not what it's supposed to be. The pic I had in mind looked far better than this :giggle: But I can't beam my thought onto paper :( So my shaking hand (man I was so shaky during the first hour of coloration, I have no idea what was wrong with me ^^; ) had to do, and well the perspective killed me... and the pic. And than there was the problem that I invented the Laudae, but I draw animals in sideview since.... 15 years, and next to never from the front, so I was like "Ahhh f*ck! How am I supposed to draw Aarev!?" that's why he looks like he looks. Originaly I wanted him to step on Ben Zayn's back with his left foot, kicking the air with the right, and howling in the direction of the cieling (but directed at the viewer - so the lower frontside of his scull would have been seen). But man I had problems with that perspective, so I chose one that was not so difficult ^^" And Voth'ack was supposed to look more evil, laughing over Ben Zayn and maybe hitting him with his (walking-)stick, but instead he became rather static *grml* And Ben Zayn looks quite crippled ^^' He's supposed to have his hands bound together behind his back. (man the perspective rly killed me >.> ) Ahh whatever, that's the result. It isn't what I hoped for, but it's good, nevertheless ^^ So enjoy, and comment, and fav etc! :D |
