| Contrary to popular belief, Harry's just not the perfect Gryffindor. In my mind, the perfect Gryffindor is actually Ron Weasley. Why? Defensive, possessive, aggressive, quick to fly off in defense of his beliefs or friends, rash, firm in his convictions, friendly, prejudiced - alright, I might be a tad bit slanted anti-Gryffindor here but he does seem like the ideal one, doesn't he? Harry's got just a few tendencies which make me think he'd make a great Dark Lord (once the current one falls) in the future and just a little too few Gryffindor traits to be perfect. My blatant anti-Gryffindor slandering *g* aside, I had a blast colouring Ron in. The first time I've cracked out my markers since returning from Otakon a week ago, he was a pleasure to layer colour after colour on until I achieved the tones I wanted. I picked a different side for the light than I typically do and had a lot of fun adding hues on to darken his hair right. I know red-heads don't always literally look so...red...but I like to think of Ron as symbolizing the best of his House colours. Ron Weasley © J. K.
