Act. 1
It was one of these spring days when the weather isn't great at all. It was cloudy and rainy all day long. Besides the schedule of his band Key had to shoot a couple of scenes for Raising an Idol and so he was brought to today's location via car. While staring out the window his thoughts start drifting away again.
He was wondering what was going wrong these days. He couldn't name the problem at all. The only thing he knew was that Jonghyun acted kinda cold in front of him recently. He knew Jonghyun for years now and since their trainee days they were really close.
" . . . " his ringing blackberry cellphone brought him back to reality. The display showed Jonghyun's name and of course he picked up the call in no time. "Hi Jjong!" started the younger trying to sound cheerful. "Kibum? It's Onew here." Key's bad mood was back again. " . . . " Key didn't know what to say so he rudely waited for Onew's reason to call "Kibum? Are you still there? I'm calling from Jonghyun's cellphone because ...."

Key suddenly remembered the day he met Jonghyun for the first time. He just started as trainee for SM Entertainment and Key had already heard rumors of Jonghyun back then. He was called "The Voice" amongst the trainees. Key was very curious about him but would never show this much interest in an individual on the surface. So this day of their fateful first meeting was scheduled because of their today's vocal lessons.
The younger one had to sing a part of an H.O.T song and did so very well. The coach gave him praise and some suggestions to improve his singing. After him Jonghyun had to sing the same part of H.O.T's song. His singing was impressive and powerful so Key got goosebumps all over his body but the coach rant Jonghyun to sing as he was taught. The latter one blushed and mumbled an excuse while bowing his head a several times.
The whole lesson Key looked at Jonghyun subtly. He wanted to find out more on this boy! The only thing he knew was that the other one was older then him. He had to find out and so he did. After the lesson he 'accidently' run into him and started to chit-chat with him. Jonghyun was still a bit considerate due to his coach's criticism and wasn't really listening to Key's talking.
While walking around the SM Buiding Key was greated by a lot of girls and this was the reason Jonghyun suddenly became interested in Key. Jonghyun thought that the younger boy was popular amongst the girls and so he took a closer look at Key. He saw the good-looking boy who won the vocal lessons over him and became angry for an instant. As if Key knew he suddenly started to link his arm with Jonghyun's. The older one didn't knew what to say so he silently agreed with it.
"Jjong? I'm allowed to call you Jjong? Jonghyun is kinda long, don't you think? I like Jjong it fits you really well. It's cute and unique like you" stated Key.
"I'm older than you. Call me 'Hyung'."
"I won't call you 'Hyung', Jjong~♡"

This memory made him smile softly. It happened a lot since these days. Time passed by so fast and since their debut they hardly had time for anything else besides being Idols. Key was glad that he managed to finish school this year. Due to his schedule he decided that he won't continue studying at an university or college but would instead focus on his carreer with SHINee.
"What was Onew-hyung talking about again?" Key tried to remember but he didn't really listen to him earlier. He went to meet up and shout a couple of scenes with Shin Irang - his teacher for being a chef. Irang was 3 years older than him and kinda liked this boy. She knew very soon that this boy appeared to be light-headed but was on the other hand very loveable. It was Irang's sincere belief that this boy's behaviour appeared because of his shyness. They shoot some scenes and Key went back to their dorm only to find out that nobody was their.
Act. 2
As soon as Key returned to the dorm he fell on the sofa in their living room. Due to his own heavy schedule and SHINee's promotions in Japan and Korea he lacks ease the most recently so he fell into sleep very soon. After a short nap he woke up and decided to get a glass of milk from the kitchen.
He became worried and wanted to talk to someone but looking for his cellphone within the pockets of his skinny jeans was unsuccessful. He tried again and again however his mobile wasn't in his pants. His heart already started beating faster and an urge to panic start to knock on his forehead. Where the hack was his cellphone? He knew panic won't help so he tried to calm down.
"Ok . . . Maybe it's in my jacket." He searched the pockets of his jacket over and over. No cellphone. While cursing around in the dorm he emptied his bag a thousand times yet it seemed like his mobile was gone for good. "THIS is really bad." He already considered the possible consequences from this. Were there a additional schedule to attend today? He had Raising an Idol today. . . but after this?
He remembered using his cellphone the last time after Onew called earlier to tell him something. He checked his mails and after that he went to the fish market with Irang to buy eel. Even though this would be a serious problem it's still possible for the mobile device to be at the fish market. He has to go there again. Without thinking for a long time he packed his bag, grabbed his jacket and left the dorm.

In the meantime his bandmates returned to the dorm. Because Key went out to search for his mobile the others found the dorm empty with no trace of their missing bandmate.
"Where is he?" asked Taemin to break their nervous silence. Onew gave a worried look to Jonghyun who only rolled his eyes. "Maybe he's dating again Nicole..." said Jonghyun biting his lips out of bother and jealousy. They just came back from a radio show and Minho had to go afterwards to a meeting because of his appearance on Dream Team 2. So SHINee had to appear as 4 only. Since Key's busy with Raising an Idol filming they made an reasonable excuse by telling the MC this.
"It's to him to date a girl or not but when it comes to skipping a schedule it's really worse." said Onew trying to calm Jonghyun down. He soon realoized that this won't work. They went to the kitchen and got their self some carbonated sugar-free drinks and waited in their living room. The mood of the 3 were really serious so Taemin said "I don't think that Key's the type to date a girl instead of attending a schedule..." He took a discreet glance at Jonghyun. "Maybe he forget about the schedule BECAUSE he's dating that girl." said Jonghyun bitchy.
The suddenly ringing bell pull them out of their thoughts back to reality. Since the lights were lit Key decided to ring the door. He had a lot of plastic bags in his hands. After climbing the stairs he stood in front of the door where Taemin opened him up.
"Hyung, why are you so late?" asked Taemin carefully to find out his older bandmates mood. "I had to look for my cellphone what I lost somehow at the filming place of today's scene for the reality show I'm filming these days." replied Key calmly.
"OH! Isn't this KARA's van out there?" said Onew who went to look outside of the window to see who was ringing. After realizing what he just did he slowly turned around to Jonghyun whom's eyes were opened widely.
Within a blink of an eye Jonghyun sprung up of the coach where he was sitting and stood in front of Key saying: "I really don't care whether you date girls or not but skipping a schedule because of that is serious. It seems like I don't know you anymore. Maybe this is the real you." "Jjong..." started Key "I'm not in the mood for this..."
"Let's talk this out! So you're saying that you went out with Nicole?" Jonghyun voice became louder and Taemin and Onew became more and more afraid of a serious escalation today. "Jonghyun, I don't date her!" Key himself became angry and shouted back at his counterpart. "Whatever. Do what you want to do. I backed you up today. But it seems like I was a fool. I'm not willing to do this again for you. Mind your own business from today on." After yelling Jonghyun pushed Key to the side, slipped out of the dorm and smashed the door loudly.
"Why..." Key's fears just broke down upon him. He didn't know what else to say. He slided down the wall and sat desperately in the entrance of their dorm.
Act. 3
Key was still sitting on the floor staring at the ground. Taemin who couldn't stand seeing his hyung like this tried to cheer him up or at least entangle him in a conversation. "Hyung, this radio show we went today was ... " the maknae glanced at Key waiting for a reaction that didn't show up. "It was just the usual one. Introduction, questioning . . ." He smiled shyly but nothing happened.
Key realized Taemin's effort in cheering him up. "Thanks Dear. Key-umma, wants to be alone, okay? I have to think about this. . ." Key stroke Taemin's hair while getting up. He went to the bath room and locked it up staring at the mirror. "What have you done again?" He couldn't stand his miserable view. Through all this trouble until now he hadn't checked his cellphone yet. He checked it only to see that there were approx. 30 calls in absence. 7 were from Jonghyun. The last one is not even 10 minutes ago. "I guess, I really worried him." thought Key by himself.
Onew felt suddenly bad. There probably wouldn't have been this fight between Jonghyun and Key even he hadn't mentioned Kara's van who was just leaving their parking lot. But did this mean that Key went out on a date with Nicole? He never felt worse as a leader. "Hyung, is Key really dating Nicole?" asked Taemin aloud what was bothering Onew too. "I'm not sure of that. The only thing I'm sure about is that he came with Kara's van that did just leave. " His job was to keep the boys and their different characters together. This usually works out perfectly and he doesn't have to do anything.

Bright sunlight shining on his face. "What's your dream, Kibum?" He blinked.
Key woke up still with the memory of Jonghyun and his beach holiday from their trainee days. Back then both of them decided to take a day off and went to the sea together. This was a very precious memory to him. Everytime he was feeling sad or tired as a child his mother made milktea for him. The love he felt from the tea was the same what he had when he was laying in the sun with Jjong. But when had he forgotten on their dream?
Key looked around their beds. Besides Jonghyun everyone was sleeping. "He didn't return yet?" was Key thinking by himself. Their dorm sounded silent so he decided to dress up and go out looking for Jonghyun. It was a cold night and Jonghyun left earlier without a jacket on he packed a jacket for the older. "Where are you, Jjong?" He left their dorm.
It was already pretty late that night. Key didn't know where to look but his feet went their way as if they knew where to go. He ran around their neighborhood looking for his bandmate. He knew everytime Jonghyun was troubled he needed space for him and this was mostly at a playground where he was sitting on a swing totally sunk in his thoughts.
The younger found an old playground with 2 swings. Only one of them worked, the other one hung on one cord with another cord hanging in the sand. He stared at the swing and went their slowly. He sat down and stared at the night sky. From here it was even possible to see the stars. This was really seldom in Seoul. "You're not here, aren't you?" Key sunk down in this small swing. His confidence began to drop. "I'm sorry what happened earlier but why aren't you at least a bit confident in me? It's hurting me that you don't believe me." Key's voice cracked up. He was really worried.
"It's not like I don't believe in you." said Jonghyun. Key was shocked and shrug together on his swing. But Jonghyun was faster so he hugged Key from behind. "I was thinking about this whole situation." He let go of Key and walked around him so they could see each other from face to face. It was really dark so Key wasn't able to see Jonghyun's face properly.
Act. 4
He still wasn't able to see Jonghyun's face but he knew how he felt because of his voice. "You're really disappointed, aren't you?" Key's confidence in fixing this situation reached zero. Jonghyun replied: "Let's go for a walk" Key couldn't help but to walk half a step behind Jonghyun. The latter wasn't the type to talk out things, he's easily enraged and in the same timeline he's already calmed down. But this time it was different because he wasn't mad at all. The younger boy really felt the disappointement of his bandmate.
"Jjong, I really don't date Nicole." started Key since he thought that Jonghyun was totally jealous because of her. "It's OK for me if you date girls. You're a boy after all and Nicole's a cute girl." said he biting his lips. "She's your type, isn't she? She's tough as Jessica." Jonghyun felt sorry after the last sentence since he knew that one of Key's week points was Jessica. It's not like Key fell for her, but she was the first good-looking girl that talked to Key at SM Entertainment and took care of him - the only reason why Key endures being pushed around by her all the time.
"You won't believe me. . . Could you please give me the chance to explain the situation? I've seen you called me about 7 times . . . " Jonghyun suddenly turned around and gave Key a scary glance. "I know that I called you. I was totally worried. Since you didn't appeared on today's schedule that Onew told you about earlier this morning." "When did Onew call me?" Key asked promptly. "He definately called you, I was standing right next to him since he used my mobile. His was low of battery." "Oh. . . I remember. . . " said Key. He remember receiving a call from Jonghyun's cellphone with Onew at the end. Sadly enough he didn't listened to him because he spaced out.
"Kibum..." the older one used his real name only in important conversations. "Date who you want. Really, but don't mess up with SHINee or SHINee's schedule." "Jjong, it's not like that!" Jonghyun took a deep breath "I always thought you're not the one to mess with your duties. I've never thought of you dating a girl would probably cause us SHINee as a team problems." "HYUNG!" Key grabbed Jonghyun's hand. "Please, at least listen to me! Let me explain to you, OK? I lost my cellphone at the set from today...." Jonghyun shook Key's hand off forcefully "... and I went there back to get it." finished Key the sentence the last words where almost as silent as if they weren't told.
"So, after picking up your mobile you decided to hang out with KARA instead of doing your job or why did you get with them here?" shouted Jonghyun at him "No, they accidently were around and picked me up to give me a ride home. . . " Key answered calmly to not make his bandmate more angry "Sure, Seoul is so small I run often into the SuJu-hyungs." replied Jonghyun ironically. "Oh come on, I hope your aware of how ridicilous this sounds." "Jjong! Do you know what I'm aware of now? That my best friend just left me behind and decided to no longer believe in me. It's useless now." "Yeah, maybe we should stop talking anyways. I don't want to deal with your lies anymore." This was too much. Key just slapped Jonghyun in the face. "This is it, Jonghyun. I'm not a liar and you're not the one to call me this for no reason." The older one felt an burning pain on his left cheek and some uncertain ache in his chest.
Key was crying on his back home. Since he couldn't stand the situation he kept on running until he reached their dorm. His parents were in Daegu so he had to go back to the dorm. After he reached the dorm he walked straight to the kitchen and sat down on a seat with switched off lights. To calm him down he made himself a cup of milktea. This stopped at least his tears and made him able to go to bed. After laying down he fell into sleep immediately.

"What have I done!?" Jonghyun didn't plan to fight with Key. Actually he was planning to talk this out with him. "Why did he bring up Nicole again? He knows I don't like that girl." He considered it over and over if he might treated Key the wrong way. Whilte think on this topic he reached the dorm shortly after Key fell into sleep. Jonghyun knows about Key's current schedule and that he had to sleep. Since he was tired anyways he decided to also lay down to get some rest.
Later in the night he woke up from Key's sleepy mumbling. "Still. . . don't believe me... why... Hyung." Jonghyun wasn't used to hear Hyung from Key. The latter was tossing and turning around in his bed so Jonghyun became worried. He went over to check him out only to find out Key had a very high fever. "You're burning, Key."
