Iloon als: Kirito (GGO)

From the moment the SAO 2 anime came out, people are throwing this design to my direction after I have cosplayed his Alfheim version already.

Having read the novel before the anime came out, the novel description of this avatar didn't appeal to me in the beginning (everything in the novel is described as being plain black. Black hair, black eyes, black garnments etc. also blue lightsaber instead of purple) as Kirito's Spriggan design already has a complete black theme, I found it lacked creativety.

But the anime character designers made a smart move, they decided to go for 50 shades of grey with a violet filter over it.
Still being it an unisex design but with a more interesting color scheme to execute.

The wig.
This style is asking for a front lace wig. The problem I came across with is that the haircolor of this design is so very specific (dark grey with a red undertone) that this color is not being sold by any wig supplier.
Which means I have had to dye it myself. So I took a light grey lace front wig and dyed it with the acrylic ink/ alcohol method.

The chest plate is made from foam covered with apoxy. Then tons of sanding involved.
Added a leather belt and with snaps it's also attached to the jacket.

The upper jacked and overskirt are made from denim.

The shirt and pants are mode from heavy jersey.

Boots and gloves are made from faux suede.

The hilt of the lightsword is made from a flashlight which I altered and added a karabiner. The blade and electronics are from UltraSabers.

The protective field crystal is casted from resin and attached to a piece of wood.
