Aber ich mag den Song einfach. Dazu muss man sagen, dass der Song im Original nicht von Joshua Kadison sondern von John Denver stammt.
John Denver? werdet ihr euch jetzt fragen. Verständlich... Von ihm stammen zum Beispiel auch Songs wie: "Take me home, Country Roads" und das uns allen wohl bekannte "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer" und eben auch der Song: "Jessie paints a picture".
John Denver wurde 1943 in Roswell, New Mexico geboren und starb 1997 in Kalifornien. Sein eigentlicher Name lautet: Henry John Deutschendorf jr. Und er war ein US-amerikanischer Country- und Folkstar.
1993 coverte Joshua Kadison diesen Song und widmete ihn seiner damaligen Lebensgefährten Sarah Jessica Parker (die uns allen wohl bekannt sein dürfte).
Damals beeindruckte er mit einer wundervollen Stimme und unglaublich tollen Haaren, allerdings konnte er den Erfolg dieses Song nicht mehr wiederholen. Musik macht er aber noch heute.
