The Rose ~Melody in the sky~   von Yurippe
                                (A CS Oneshot)

                                  Kapitel 1:

Hey, it's my second Contestshipping oneshot! It really took me a lot of time to
figure out which song I should use next... Sorry if I kept you waiting. 
This time will be the last for me to apologise for my English. I just feel like
when people know it is not your mother tongue, they are especially picky and say
things like "Well, considering your English is not so good, this was a nice
attempt".  Hope I don't sound conceited here (this is left for Drew later on
xD), but I have seen English speakers doing worse. Of course, if you spot
mistakes, may they be typing or grammar, contact me and I will correct them. 
Now, on with the story! I used a song by Mai Kuraki this time. Here's the text
(It's the only english one, so I decided to post it here. For the other songs,
go to the site I'm telling you in the stories.)

It was getting dark outside rapidly as dusk was approaching. May was sitting in
the Pokecenter with her friends when she spotted something outside the window.
Through the falling night she was sure she had seen a boy with green hair
standing in some distance on a hill.
"I'll be right back", she informed her friends, and without waiting for an
answer, she hurried outside towards the place Drew was supposed to be.
"Drew!", she exclaimed as she reached him. 
"Oh, hi May." He took his eyes off the sky for a moment to look at May. She
blushed, but hoped he wouldn't notice it in the red sunset.
"I thought you had left for Johto", May stated. She said this in a casual tone,
but inside she felt extremely happy that he could talk to him once more now.
Drew shoved his hands in his pockets. "Yeah, but I need to get some done here
things before I leave."
"Sure." Then, before she could think, she added: "I'm glad that you're still
here."
She thought that Drew would be teasing her with this now, and maybe forever, and
immediately felt stupid for expressing her feelings to him like that.
But, to her surprise, he just smiled and said: "
You are?"
"Yes, I mean, we're friends after all, aren't we?", she asked, confused by his
behaviour.
"Of course we are", answered. "But I think I should really leave now." He handed
her another one of his beautiful red roses, then turned around and left.
May looked down at the rose, then watched Drew walking away.
A single tear fell down to the rose she was holding in her hand, as May realized
that, once again, she couldn't tell him how she really felt. And once again, he
had just left, and left her behind. More tears were pouring out of her eyes,
watering the rose she was still clutching tightly. All she could do now was
hoping to seem him again, and that it would not be too late then.
"Be safe", she mumbled. 






I hope you liked it! I tried a more serious one this time, because the song is
rather sad. I will try to keep a good balance when it comes to the atmosphere in
the stories, making some cheerful ones, but also some more serious.
You will see, the next fanfic is going to take this up. Consider it as one
story, but without the unimportant blabla in between. (Like pokemon fights and
so on.)
I just realized, I completely left out the whole "melody in the sky" part. Lol.
But I simply don't support the idea of May being a singer, although it seems to
be quite popular.
Plus, I just realized this story is stupid...
