| Another image for @projectgaiathefanbook on Instagram! This one was a challenging one to draw but a lot of fun nontheless! For Gaia I had a lot of different ideas but sometimes an idea looks better in your head than it does on a paper or a screen. And after the 5th restart of this image I said "Alright, this better be working now or I will move this idea aside and maybe draw it once my skills align with the vision in my head" . But than I kept going and had a lot of fun drawing these Rockpatterns and the scenery. And little tiny Aloy. And the details in the grass. And slowly seeing how this image came together. Meanwhile I was also hardly inspired by the Lightbox Expo Panels that I watched while working on this image. These Panels where kind of a motivator of "Where you wanna be ? You wanna be at the place these artists are? Allright we better be pushing now!" and so I would say I finished this image :) |
