But when Papyrus doesn't come home and none of his phone calls are answered, he becomes anxious. No. Not another genocide route. That child wouldn't dare, would they? Suddenly his soul responds strongly to something and his heart gleams in a soft shimmer and he knows something went wrong. He rushes out of the house. Only with his pink slippers on his feet and socks that barely shields him from the cold. Those slippers were a present by his beloved brother. He teleports to the woods, as far as possible from Snowdin, only to see the red scarf of his brother on the ground. The scarf covered in snow and dust. He falls down on his knees, his small body trembling, his bones trousling. He reaches out for the scarf. "Pap...? Is this a joke? I'm the one who is telling jokes. Come on, bro... don't leave me like that", he says and touches his forehead, forcing himself to stay positive, but only despair awaits him in the back of his mind. Not again. |
