| STRG+C STRG+V Glancing up to the dark clouds hovering threatening over Autumnus Purple pulled his bright yellow Raincoat tighter around himself, grabbed his umbrella and stepped outside. No. This Irken wouldn't let himself be intimidated by this kind of weather, even if it tried killing him with its acidic water. After all. He was Tallest!! ...and hopefully Orihime would finish him a purple raincoat soon... This 'yellow' just wasn't his. ... ... ... w00t! RANDOMNESS! =^.^= Actually a little gift for my new almighty Tallest Fal... err... Purple ;P How comes he's in a raincoat and on top of that not even a purple one?! The purple one isn't done yet XD Well... It's a bit complicated... ^^; ~ You may not know it, but I pretty much ~love~ rping. Up to now this was limited to the RPG-system on Animexx/fanarts.net, but due to the fact that all my beloved RPGs there seem to be dieing away and there don't seem to be any useful other ones... I started to get bored over the past weeks, maybe even months. In order to not get too addicted with playing Ragnarok Online again because of the lack of good rping I decided to give my LJ-account a closer look, figuring out the thing with the layout-stuff, cuts, sommunities... The last one mostly due to Slayers Revolution. It's because of that, that I actually noticed how useful a LJ-community could be in order to stay up-to-date. Now over several twists and turns I noticed there's RPGs on LJ as well. My first impression was more like 'Geeez... That's complicated!' - but with nothing else to do to avoid my upcoming addiction I... Well. Started reading the information-pages of a few of these RPGs, getting fascinated with the complexity and variety of stories and especially the requirements within the application! Samples of first-person-rping, samples of third-person-rping... I was like 'WOW! If they'd handle it that way on Animexx they wouldn't get three players together at all!' But these RPGs HAD players! Plenty of it! So I started skipping through the actual rping itself and noticed the quality of the posts. Nothing compareable towards the standarts of the typical Animexx-RPG at all. Then I stumbled over a 'Multi-Fandom-RPG'. My reaction was a bit critical. Animexx has Multi-Fandom-RPGs as well and they're mostly based on stupidity and random yaoi-pairings and stuff... But the story was interesting! My first thought was trying to join in as Vincent, dragging in my Hojo with me and all. But noting, that Fluffy isn't much in the mood for rping these days... weeks... months... Well. Plus: The only other FF7-char was that annoying wannabe-ninja. And I surely wouldn't want to be stuck with only that one to know. Also... Playing Vincent would once again mean 'serious business' and all... That's when I noticed they had a Purple in their list of taken Characters and I was all like 'Hey. Why not! That could actually be fun!!' That's when my decision to apply as Zim was made. Writing that application almost killed me though XD I've never participated in a RPG on LJ and had no idea what to write. Especially when I was stuck with the samples. 'Past tense' was wirtten there. ARGH! GRAMMAR! I have absolutely NO understanding of grammar! Neither german nor english! I'm used to just USE the language without thinking too much while doing it! GODS! So I just gave it my best try, pressed 'Submit' and went into hiding. Hell. I was NERVOUS! Had my Googlemail open in a new tap of my browser, a newly created account only for that purpose so I new: As soon as there was ONE item in the inbox it would be a reply from the moderator. And it came. I screamed, fled from the room, into the kitchen and... made waffles... .___.; ~ Yes. Horrible... But I just was too nervous to look at the answer. When I finally managed to look at it I almost felt like crying. The application was okay despite for that I had to reconsider my 'Zero Hour Price'... The price my character would have to pay in order to get a body in that world. I felt like screaming again... and hid in my bed, cuddling with my cat a bit to calm down again. Well. After the price was settled... I was in! oô Joined my first LJ-RPG, still absolutely confused, unsure about how to begin and wether my knowledge of the english language would be enough to not mess it up completely. But... I was accepted! I felt like dieing. I didn't know anyone, felt absolutely unsure about making my introduction or even my first post... Hell. Such an awkward feeling... After pondering a while I finally introduced myself as their new small invader of stupidity and... Hey. They didn't bite! o.ô ~ All these people where just so friendly and I got to meet the Purple that made me apply as Zim and... GODS! It's an awesome Purple! Reading his posts is just SO amusing! My new Tallest told me more or less of his current quest to make himself waterresistent if you may say so XD ~ since he's stuck in the autumn-part of that world, shopping for boots, an umbrella, having a raincoat made for him... This brought up the image you see up there. Just couldn't help grabbing my GT and do a scribble in Photoshop ;) ~ it's messy and the proportions look kind of misplaced, but that's not important right now. I just had to get this image my awesome Tallest Purple planted into my silly brain out and on screen~ Well. That's basically how it came to this. Right now I hope I'll manage to get Zim back to his old self soon. He's still so confused about that world and the gaps in his mind that I fear he's getting OOC... But with him paying with all the memories of his 'Amazing Achievements' he's got no memories of anything he's ever done to be proud of, but stuck with only rememebring his failures... It unnerves him greatly. Okay. He didn't have many 'true' successes to be proud of, but considering how proud he was of annihilating a good part of his own race one may only guess how his ego works... I'm not sure wether or not he remembers having caused the two 'Horrible Painful Overloads', but I'm convinced he remembers being responsible for the death of Tallest Miyuki and Spork. Therefore with no 'good' memories of himself he's... Well. A bit unsure at the moment and sure to try proving his worth towards the Irken race. Yes. He'll most likely just fail again, but... ... ... Remember. He's an idiot~ =^.^= But that'll make it just more fun to play him! That... And being able to rant over all those 'filthy HYUMANS!' Wow. This has gotten quite a rant~ ^^; Anyway. All my admiration towards my almighty Tallest Purple and his determination to not let the rain get at him! XD And thanks a lot at all the other players for welcoming this silly little alien into their group without drawing out scalpels! Reading all those logs filled with good RPing just makes me happy again~ And for bearing my possibly aweful english I'll bring some waffles next time~ ;) Have a nice day ~Zetsubo |
