The moment Tsuruga Ren appeared as BJ (Cain Heel) I fell in love with that character xD
I mean, come on... he is so damn awesome! xD
So it was just a question of time for me to cosplay him. Sadly, I can't quite display his scary sexiness, but I still enjoyed wearing that costume (especially with my Setsu at my side <3)
Cosplaycreation:
I collected first a few pictures of BJ to know how that costume works, but I still haven't quite figured it out yet xD'
I tried to make it to the best of my abilities and found out that sewing gloves and doing the boots myself with faux leather is plain insanity!!! xD
Seriously, it made me question several times why I am even doing that to myself xD
The Same with the cut up coat. To not completely have it fall apart I secured every cut with a seam before cutting it open. It only took me, like, a day. And then I realized it wasn't far enough xD"
Hah yeah...
Wearing the costume:
Since I never tried the gash make up before, I took me four hours to get ready (actually five, because I had to repair my shoes before wearing them. Hotglue wasn't enough to keep them together u.u).
Since the cos is very revealing underneath the coat and the day was quite windy I constantly had to pull it over my manboobs again xD
Lea gave me the tip to use two-sided duct tape next time (great idea! xD)
Turned out the make up was very sticky, since my hair or coat stuck to it several times and wearing those gloves left my hand constantly drenched in sweat xD
But I still love it!
The shoes dissolved themselves during the day so I will have to try making them again and the "knife" *coughcough* fell apart at the end of the day as well.
Next time I should take more time than a few hours to make it xD
