This is the proof I am not only cosplaying sweet little girls >8D!!

Seriously... believe it or not but this is my most expensive costume so far >.<!
I really love periodical costumes and since FMA takes place between 1910 - 1920 I just had to make this costume!
And because of that I used early 1900's authentic fabrics which are REALLY expensive, but so worth using it, omg they are so beautiful *.* but hard to find!!

The only problem is that it makes a lot of this costume damn heavy!! (how can Ed wear this stuff!)

Inspirated by a real authentic 1900's train manager jacket which I needed to repair on my internship I used Melton Wool for the red coat and lined it with Linnen fabric. Melton Wool makes the coat pretty heavy but nice and warm! Also 2 metal buttons are sewed on the front (which you don't see the most of the time ^^').

For the jacket I used Pure Wool Gabardine lined with Linnen Fabric.

For the other jacket which Ed wears later in the series I used Lordtex, which is tightly woven wool gabardine which has a more sportive and manly look then wool gabardine.

Inspirated by the old train manager jacket for both jackets I used Jute Fabric to make the collar more rigid, like it was done in the authentic jacket =)

The shirt is made from cotton.

I used real leather for the pants, I can't remember which type since I made the pants on my internship.
Leather is not easy to work with, it is really easy to mess up. Good thing of real leather is that it breaths but the negative point is that it is pretty heavy.
For the opening I used 5 buttons instead of a zipper. The zipper exists since 1912 (I am such a nerd) but is not directly used in clothing very often, that is why I used buttons.

The boots are militairy boots which I modified with leather, I modified the soles with spoon rubber and latex. Also the boots are pretty heavy >.<!

The belt is made from blanc cow leather.

The wig was a real disaster! Finding the right color was a big challenge and after searching like for ever I ended up with a long Butterscotch blonde wig.
I cutted of the front of the wig very carefully. Replaced it with tulle and knotted the fibers on the tulle one by one. Took hours of work but so worth it because it gives a natural look! Tulle is very easy to blend into your skin with make-up =)

Many people called me nuds, an idiot or crazy for putting so much effort in such an easy and often seen costume, well you can call me what ever you want but I am really satisfied with the outcome!!

Wow long description is long 0.o!
