You’re like the coffee every morning

Strong, punching me hard in the face to finally wake up

You make me addicted and laugh at my subjection

But you alone give me that secured feeling

Warm, keeping me unharmed through this tough life

Every day, again and again

The others don't see, because you don't want them to

And you don’t want me to notice or mention it

And I don’t do it

Because nobody else has to know

I just pass you, glare at you while you glare at me, flipping me of

You're not big in my life, I'm not big in your life

Like we were perfect strangers, antagonists

I hate to admit this, because I feel like I can never make it up to you

I’m afraid to reveal this, because it might destroy us

But I can’t lie

And you can’t either
