                              Kapitel 1: One shot
                              -------------------


Slowly Katsuya walked through the streets. Since a few weeks he was down, didn't
want to go out and have fun, he preferred to be alone, like he always had been.
Of course he had beautiful friends and a really lovely sister, but he missed the
person he loved as much as the mentioned ones.
A few weeks ago they've argued and he just left the villa of his lover and
didn't come back for a while. But now he regretted everything he had done and
said. He knew that Seto had to work a lot because Christmas was near, but he
also wanted his lover to be with him, in his eyes Christmas time was the time
for being together with your family, and Seto sometimes wasn't at home for
days.

But now Katsuya had to start his normal life again. After holidays would be over
he would go to school and there he would see Seto again, but he didn't know how
to behave towards his ex: Should he ignore him or should he argue with him as
they did before their relationship? And this relationship hadn't started as
every other normal relationship starts, when people tell each other that they
love each other. When Katsuya thought back he realized that nothing about their
relationship had been normal.
One day after PE lesson was over, Seto came to him and said that he thought
Katsuya was attractive and so he wanted to sleep with him. Of course the poor
boy was shocked and couldn't say anything and it ended up that the two had sex
in the dressing – room, well, Seto took everything he could get right from the
start. After this incident Katsuya came to Setos villa every second day, they
both became interdependent and couldn't stop seeing each other secretly. Some
weeks passed and Katsuya realized that there was more and he told Seto so, but
Seto didn't believed it and told Katsuya that he didn't need a reason for their
affair, it was natural to feel attraction towards an other person. And because
Katsuya is a very stubborn person he searched for a way to show Seto his feeling
were true, this was a reason for him to sing his own song he wrote moths ago to
Seto, in front of the hole school on their open day at school. Of course Seto
haven't liked it at first, he didn't want his private life to be known by
everyone, but Katsuya waited for an answer, and he had to wait a long time. Only
after a whole month Seto talked to him again, he called him on his mobile phone
to tell him he has to come over, and of course Katsuya did as said. Seto waited
for him in the living room and when he saw the blond boy, he smiled truly at him
and showed him to sit down next to him. When Katsuya did so Seto just kissed him
and whispered in his ear that he loved him and wanted to be with him forever.
And because Seto was a VIP soon everyone in Japan knew about his relationship to
Katsuya Jounochi and how they found each other.
This was in summer and now they were apart and it still was hurting. And as far
as Katsuya knew, Seto already had another guy, he was a popstar and of course he
wrote a song to Seto, so everyone knew he was the new lover. But Katsuya didn't
believe this guy truly loved Seto, well we speak of Seto Kaiba, the richest man
in Japan, and it was a good PR, too. Sometimes the blond boy asked himself if
Seto smiled at this guy like he smiled at him, warm and lovely. And every time
he thought about his ex, it hurt him more and more to be the only one who
suffered about breaking up and loosing his lover.

Sometimes he just wished to be with Seto again, to lie in this strong arms which
hold him like they never would let him go, or like they did some weeks ago. Just
seeing Seto made him happy, even on TV with his new lover, because Seto seemed
to be happy.

But he wouldn't be Katsuya Jounochi if he hadn't tried to get Seto back. It
could be that he was an idiot and that he wasn't the best in school, but he was
stubborn. After cooling down he tried to call Seto every day, who just hadn't
picked up, Katsuya guessed because his number was shown. Then he just tried to
meet Seto at Kaiba Corp., but he never saw him go in or leave, for two weeks.
After this plan failed he tried at the villa, but Mokuba just told him his
brother hadn't been at home for a while and sure was at Kaiba Corp., so Katsuya
wanted to go to Seto's office, but he wasn't able to go in because the security
didn't let him.
That was the point when he started to worry. He thought that Seto would work the
whole time just to forget everything that happened and he knew that Seto Kaiba
often overdid some things. So he started to call his ex again, and as before no
one picked up.
But a few days later he was too shocked too be worried, because Seto Kaiba was
on TV, with another guy and they both told they were a couple. After a while
someone asked what happened to his first lover, Katsuya Jounochi, and Seto just
said “We decided to break up, but we are still friends.”, and Katsuya just
couldn't believe what he heard. Friends?! This asshole didn't even pick up the
phone to talk to him and so they never talked about breaking up officially. And
most of all he was pissed about calling him a friend. It wouldn't be able for
him to be just friends with Seto, not now and not in the future! And he wouldn't
affirm this statement if a reporter would ask him. But no one asked, everyone
forgot about the blond boy who once was Seto Kaiba's lover, everyone believed in
what Seto said.
But being mad about this interview ended some when and Katsuya accepted being
the only one who suffered. He just wished that Seto would think about him
sometimes and that they could act as adults and wouldn't behave like children
and argue about whose fault it was they broke up when they meet.

Sometimes he thought about going to Seto and talk to him, but he couldn't. He
knew that he still loved this cold person who once looked so lovely at him, so
he wouldn't be able to act normal towards him. Still he wished that everything
was a bad dream and that he would wake up in this strong arms and feel happy
again, but he was sure this wouldn't happen, because it wasn't a dream.

Just when he walked in a café to drink a warm tea, he realized the song which
was played. It was his song, the one he sang to Seto in front of everyone. After
breaking up and let his lover go he just wanted to finish with everything by
singing this song officially as his on a CD, so everyone knew about his
feelings, and of course Seto, too. And because he was known as somebody who was
together with Seto Kaiba some when it was easy for him to find someone who would
do him a
favor.

Sitting at a table and waiting for his tea he just looked out the windows and
thought about the beautiful time he had with Seto and that nothing would be like
it was before. But he knew he had the strength to go trough everything, he was a
strong person.
Just before getting his tea he suddenly saw a person outside the café. This
person looked intensively at him staying where he was. After looking at this
person again Katsuya realized who it was and he looked away immediately. It was
Seto and he knew that Seto still could see him, but he didn't want to see the
CEO, it was too early. After a few minutes he decided to look outside again, but
Seto was gone and he signed. But when he looked around he found Seto sitting in
front of him and he was panic – stricken. He didn't know what he should say or
do, so he just looked on the table and stayed quite.
“I'm sorry!”
Hearing this words from Seto made him looking up and see into this ice blue eyes
which were filled with sadness.
“I'm really sorry, Katsuya!”
But even repeating his words didn't make Katsuya move or talk, he just sat there
and stared at his ex.
“Why don't you talk to me?”
“You also haven't talked to me, have you?”
When finally words came out of Katsuyas mound, they sounded bitterly.
“You haven't picked up the phone, you haven't been at home and you haven't let
me in Kaiba Corp. so I couldn't talk to you. And then you just appeared on TV
with this guy and told everyone you were a couple!”
His last words Katsuya shouted at the person opposite and tears ran down his
cheeks.
“Please, calm down and let me explain.”
Seto staid calm and looked again at the blond with sadness in his eyes. And this
look made Katsuya sit down and listen to Seto.
“I'm aware of hurting you, but I haven't known what I should do after you
left. You were my first love and just because of my behavior you were gone and
took my heart with you. I worked for days without a break because I thought it
would make me forget, but it didn't. And then there was this party at my
partner's and this guy was the only one I really talked to and after meeting him
a few times we decided to try being together, he made me forget.”
“And why haven't you just talked to me? You knew I called you and tried to
meet you!”
“Of course I did, but I wasn't able to see you, it just hurt too much!”
“And your behavior hurt me! Have you ever thought about it?!”
“Of course I did! And then it hurts even more!”
“So why are you here now?”
“I want you back.”
This simply answer Katsuya just couldn't understand.
“What?!”
“You heard right: I want you back!”
“And what's with this other guy?”
“We broke up only a few days later because he and I both realized that I still
love you and just can't let you go. But no one knew where you were, even Yugi
haven't, so I searched for you until I found you here.”
“I...”
“I shocked you again, sorry...”
“I don't know what I should do, really. I was really mad at you and when I
wasn't anymore, I decided to let you go and so I brought out my song on a CD!
And now I finally see you again and you tell me you want me back. I'm really
confused, really...I...I don't know what to do...”
Again tears left his brown eyes and he looked at Seto.
“I really don't know...”
A warm hand touched his cheek and washed away his tears.
“Then just tell me what you feel.”
“I miss you so much and I still love you so much, I can't stand it. But I'm
also hurt!”
“And which feeling is stronger, your love our your hate?”
“I don't hate you, I really don't!”
“Then why don't you just try it once more?”
“Because I'm afraid of being hurt again...”
“I promise I won't hurt you ever again. Do you believe me?”
Katsuya thought about Seto's words for a few minutes, then he looked in the ice
blue eyes again and they looked warm and lovely at him again, so he couldn't
stand it anymore.
“I believe you!”
After this words left his lips, Seto kissed him wildly because he was too happy
to express with words.
This night strong arms hold the blond boy and he felt like they would never let
him go, and this time he was sure they would hold him forever.
