This ultimately leads him to become very unpopular with his close friends because he even went after their partners at some point. Eiri became friends with Kotaru and Takeru in early middle school and with Akaya and Mizuki later. He tried to insert himself in Takeru and Kotaru's friendship and short relationship which made him pretty unpopular, especially with Takeru. At some point in high school, he has pissed off almost everyone in his circle of friends. (Akaya-Kotaru-Mizuki-Nanako-Takeru) Generally speaking, he knows no boundaries and gets upset when something doesn't work out the way he planned it.
