| Nach langer Zeit habe ich mir einen kleinen Traum erfüllt. Ich wollte unbedingt Rafaga (Grün) und Carbuncle (Rot) zusammen auf einem Bild zeichnen. Und endlich ist auch mal was dabei herausgekommen, was vorzeigbar war. <3 Rafaga und Carbuncle sind Charaktere aus D's Vampir-Story, welche sie in verschiedenen Songs erzählen und immer weiter fortsetzen. Sehr empfehlenswert :) zum reinschnüffeln: The main characters of the story are Dreizehn, the first vampire, and his son Justice, a half-vampire born from a human woman, and four additional vampires, representing water, wind, fire, and earth. The vampires that are illustrated in D’s story are different from the vampires that are commonly known, they have been awakened with love and ceased their blood draining, as only by surviving through the thirst for blood and overcoming it with the desire, can they reach true love and beauty. In the story presently being told, Dreizhen is king of the vampires, but it was not always this way. Hundreds of years ago, Dreizehn was human, and became the thirteenth king after his father was assassinated. However, his kingdom was betrayed and attacked viciously by neighboring countries, and after a constant and lengthy siege, his castle was soon sure to fall. To save his people, his kingdom, Dreizehn drank “the forbidden elixir of immorality” which was a secret of the kingdom, not knowing that it would cause him countless amounts of pain forever. Struggling through the changes in the body, Dreizehn sought out people he could trust, people to join him in immortality, to aid him in protecting the kingdom. Many were chosen, including the four knights, to become vampires, but not all of them stayed with the king forever. Through a long long time, Dreizehn gradually started to despise his own evilness, but he never ceased to believe in the good. And then, one day, a ray of hope shone down on him, when he encountered the human woman, Rosalie. The two of them soon fell deeply in love, and then got married.. Rosalie became pregnant with Justice, a normally joyous event, but in the end, even this brought suffering to Dreizehn, as Rosalie died with the birth of their son. Losing his love and hope, Dreizehn’s deep sorrow lead him to bask for one final time in the light of the sun, falling apart into ashes. . The baby, Justice, was left an orphan, until he was adopted and raised by a chief of Werewolves. Like his father, deep sorrows and great pains await him as well… * Wer mehr wissen möchte dem empfehle ich Übersetzungen von D Lyrics zu lesen oder sich mal bei https://www.facebook.com/d.international.fanclub umzusehen :) zur fertigung selber: Das Bild habe ich komplet auf Aquarellpapier mit Tusche und aquarellfarben gezeichnet. Die Photoshop Brush, die ich in der nachbearbeitung für die Vorhänge genutzt habe, habe ich selbst erstellt in dem ich die Wappen der beiden eingescannt und solange bearbeitet habe bis anständige Brush draus wurden. Außer den Vorhängen und ein wenig Farbkorrektur habe ich nichts weiter mit Photoshop an dem Bild gemacht Zu dem Wasserzeichen: das ist der Link zu meinem Tumblr account. |
